Kathleen is the founder and principal attorney of Kathleen A. Negri, Attorney at Law. Since 1992, Kathleen has practiced Elder Law, Estate Planning and Probate, helping clients plan for the legal and financial issues raised by aging, long-term illness and death.
From 1997 to 2004, Kathleen also was a caregiver for her mother, Patricia, on her journey through Alzheimer’s. From this experience, Kathleen authored the book, “Mom, Are You There? Finding a Path to Peace through Alzheimer’s.” Included in this Web Site is a list of caregiving resources to help you navigate a long term care journey with your loved one.
Kathleen is a licensed Colorado attorney, speaker and author. She has served on several Colorado Bar Association committees and educated many professionals and caregivers through her work with the Alzheimer’s Association, Area Agencies on Aging, and other community and professional audiences. In 2000, in recognition of her outstanding dedication to the welfare of the legal community and the advancement of the legal profession, Kathleen was elected by her peers to be a Fellow of the Colorado Bar Association Foundation.
Kathleen received her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law, Order of St. Ives Honor Society, and her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Colorado, Magna Cum Laude Honor Society.
Kathleen enjoys gardening, writing, and spending time with her family and her dogs.
